Jean-Pierre Rousset has been a painter and photographer since he was 15.
In both art forms, his approach places him outside of schools and currents.
His painting draws on his instinctive and personal rapport with the natural world around him. It seeks out the world of energy.
His work is a constant search for the emotional and the forces of life, placing it apart from most trends in contemporary art.
